Media
Times have evolved since our beginnings, and so has Paid Media, but one thing remains, we know our AIAN audience, and know what they’re consuming, and where to find them. We know local radio is still actually “a thing”, and that local printed newspapers are still being consumed by our audience. We also know that digital is the way of the world, and therefore, have invested in learning how and where exactly our audience spends their time in that digital world.
G+G developed and continues to maintain a complete list of media outlets that reach AI/AN’s. G+G had developed a unique tool called the AI/AN Communications Map. The map informs G+G and clients all ways into all Tribal Communities via paid and non-paid communications. The map includes online, traditional, and non-traditional media. G+G continues to maintain relationships with key media contacts throughout Indian Country.
Digital Social Media. Overall, Digital and Social Media as a tool in Indian Country is growing and developing at a slower pace than the general market. Much of this has to do with the “digital divide” in Indian Country. While digital and social are gaining ground, G+G has had the experience to develop limited campaigns using various platforms. This too has been limiting, as the measurement of specific minorities is not available.
